Description
Two ring ditches of probable Bronze Age date, but may be of later origins, are visible on historic aerial photographs as cropmarks and were mapped as part of the North Buckinghamshire Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18304). Located in a field about 250 metres E of New Inn Farm and centred at SP 68403 36468, a ring ditch up to 2.5 metres wide encloses an internal area about 19 metres in diameter. Immediately adjacent to the NE is a much smaller ring ditch up to 1.5 metres wide than encloses an internal area about 7 metres in diameter. The features are not visible on aerial photographs taken in 2019 (1-3).
