Description

A subcircular mound of uncertain date and function is visible on historic aerial photographs and remote sensing data as and earthwork and was mapped as part of the North Buckinghamshire Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18304). Located in a field about 215 metres south of Parklands and centred at SP 66410 39462, a subcircular mound is about 8 metres N-S and 6 metres W-E and abuts a block of medieval and/or post-medieval ridge and furrow (1-2).
