Description

A rectilinear ditch of uncertain date and function is visible on remote sensing data as earthworks and was mapped as part of the North Buckinghamshire Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18304). Located at Lenborough Farm and centred at SP 68084 30509, a linear ditch up to 3.5 metres wide extends 85 metres NW-SE, turns 90 degrees SW for 60 metres, before turning and extending NW for a sinuous 72 metres, forming a rectilinear enclosure of about 80 x 68 metres at its widest, with the NW facing side open (1).
