Description

A post-medieval drainage ditch system is visible on historic aerial photographs and remote sensing data as earthworks and was mapped as part of the North Buckinghamshire Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18304). Located on a meadow adjacent the River Great Ouse and centred at SP 66901 34311, a linear ditch up to 4 metres wide extends for 211 metres W-ENE from SP 66784 34330 to SP 66989 34293, with shorts spurs off it to the north and south. A second ditch some 18 metres to the south runs parallel with it for 140 metres (1-3).
