Description

A post-medieval drainage ditch system is visible on historic aerial photographs and remote sensing data as earthworks and was mapped as part of the North Buckinghamshire Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18304). Located on a meadow adjacent the River Great Ouse and centred at SP 65712 34253, a curving ditch up to 5.5 metres wide extends for 463 metres NE from SP 65379 34146 in a large arc following the bend in the river SE to SP 65711 34191 (1-3).
