Description
A post-medieval drainage ditch system is visible on historic aerial photographs and remote sensing data as earthworks and was mapped as part of the North Buckinghamshire Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18304). Located on a meadow adjacent the River Great Ouse and centred at SP 66181 34617, a curving ditch up to 6 metres wide extends for 415 metres N from SP 66296 34417 and curves W before splitting into two ditches, one extending W for 185 metres to SP 65982 34655 and the other extending SW for 162 metres to SP 65998 34580 (1-3).
