Description

A ditch of post medieval/modern date is visible on historic aerial photographs as earthworks and was mapped as part of the North Buckinghamshire Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18304). Located south of School Furze, Beachampton, and centred at SP 78756 35592. A pond has been constructed over the eastern end. The drainage pattern was probably altered at inclosure of the parish, as was often done, but it was not a field boundary on the Epoch 1 map. Underlying geology is superficial deposits of Alluvium overlying Peterborough mudstone. (1-2)
