Description

Drainage ditches of post medieval/modern date are visible on historic aerial photographs and remote sensing data as extant earthworks and were mapped as part of the North Buckinghamshire Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18304). Located north of Bourton, Buckingham, and centred at SP 71068 33835. These ditches are on the south side of the River Great Ouse, north of the site of the shrunken settlement at Bourton. (1-3)
