Description
A linear ditch of medieval/post medieval date is visible on historic aerial photographs and remote sensing data earthworks and was mapped as part of the North Buckinghamshire Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18304). Located approximately 120m south west of Manor Farm, Great Horwood, and centred at SP 77196 31518. Linear ditch along furrows in a parcel of ridge and furrow earthworks, but deeper than the furrows and leading all the way to the watercourse. Most recent lidar visualisations show that the area has been landscaped in advance of building for 14 houses and all earthworks have been removed. (1-2)
