Description
A linear ditch of post medieval/modern date is visible on historic aerial photographs and remote sensing data as extant earthworks and was mapped as part of the North Buckinghamshire Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18304). Located at within the former bomb stores at the former Little Horwood Airfield, Little Horwood, and centred at SP 78267 30549. It is on the south side of a straightened watercourse. A mill is recorded near here from field names on a 16th century map (see MBC23076) , but no mill or leat is visible on the Winslow Ordnance Surveyors drawing. (1-4)
