Description
Drainage ditches of post medieval date are visible on historic aerial photographs and remote sensing data as earthworks and were mapped as part of the North Buckinghamshire Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18304). Located 1km west of Great Horwood, where Pilch Lane crosses the parish boundary, and centred at SP 75966 31266. Pilch Lane was rerouted when the parish was inclosed and its former course here is visible in earthworks (seem MBC43974) ; these ditches are both sides of the old course of the road. (1-3)
