Description

Drainage ditches of post medieval date are visible on historic aerial photographs originally as earthworks and then cropmarks and were mapped as part of the North Buckinghamshire Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18304). Located south of the A421 and east of Pilch Lane, Great Horwood, and centred at SP 75933 32453. These ditches are visible between areas of ridge and furrow earthworks cut in to Head deposits overlying Stewartby Mudstone. (1-2)
