Description

Grade II. C18. Timber-framed and weather-boarded. Large barn with central projecting cart entrance: slate roof. Dovecot projecting on wooden brackets at apex of south gable. One storey brick lean-to on west front. Single-storey extension on north with pantile roof (B4).
Dendro-dating of timber frame indicated felling dates of 1505-1506 (B8).
Not clear if this is this the barn referred to by Vernacular Architecture Group.
