JOHN DE MOLEYNS FOUNDED CHANTRY IN CHAPEL OF ST THOMAS THE MARTYR IN CHURCH, APPURTENANT TO MANOR. IN 1557 CHANTRY HOUSE APPARENTLY USED FOR HOSPITAL (B2). FOUNDED BY SIR EDWARD HASTINGS FOR CHANTRY PRIEST & 4 BEADSMEN...IN 1765 PULLED DOWN & REBUILT AWAY (CASS 01508)(B1). NGR TO S OF CHURCHYARD (B2-3).
