AT E BURNHAM WAS THE OLD MANOR HOUSE OF E BURNHAM OR ALLARDS (NAME SURVIVES IN ALLARD'S FARM). HOUSE IN DISREPAIR AT END OF C18, PULLED DOWN C.1837 & SITE MADE INTO A MARKET GARDEN (B1).
SMALL HOUSE AT NGR IS SOLE REMAINS OF MEDIEVAL MANOR: WAS KITCHEN QUARTERS, BUT IS MODERN BRICK BUILDING (B2).
