Description

A house/garden plot of medieval/post medieval date is visible on remote sensing data as earthworks and were mapped as part of the North Buckinghamshire Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18304). Located on the road from Great Horwood to The Common and Whaddon Chase, Great Horwood, and centred at SP 77264 31697. This triangular plot at the southern end of a block of ridge and furrow earthworks, the northern boundary does not show on historic mapping but a ditch is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs and lidar visualisations. Modern land use is pasture. (1-3)
