Description

Drainage ditches of medieval/post medieval date are visible on historic aerial photographs and remote sensing data as earthworks and were mapped as part of the North Buckinghamshire Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18304). Located on the northern edge of Little Horwood Airfield, Great Horwood, and centred at SP 77538 30674. These ditches are between an area of ridge and furrow earthworks and a watercourse, with underlying geology of Stewartby Mudstone and Alluvium. (1-2)
