Description

Drainage ditches of medieval/post medieval date are visible on historic aerial photographs and remote sensing data as earthworks and were mapped as part of the North Buckinghamshire Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18304). Located at Barnhill Farm, Whaddon, and centred at SP 79808 34059. The soil here is poorly drained, overlying Stewartby Mudstone. The 4x4 track at Barnhill Farm does not cross this area but these are crossed by a field boundary shown on historic mapping. (1-3)
