Description

A road/trackway of medieval/post medieval date is visible on historic aerial photographs and remote sensing data as earthworks and was mapped as part of the North Buckinghamshire Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18304). Located on the east side of the High Street, Nash, and centred at SP 78326 34210. This road joins the High Street at Apple Cottage, a C17 house, and appears as a trackway on the 1813 map and continues north to Beacham Grove Farm, it runs in a gap between areas of ridge and furrow. It leads up to Beachampton Grove Farm, across a field called Highway Ground and continues to Stoney Stratford (1771 Beachampton Plan) (see MBC44026). (1-5)
