Description
Ditches/trackways of medieval/post medieval date are visible on remote sensing data as earthworks and were mapped as part of the North Buckinghamshire Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18304). Located within College Wood, Great Horwood, and centred at SP 79157 32946. These are within the part that was formerly Butchers or Ridge Coppice as shown on a map reconstructing woodland in the fourteenth century (Fig 1.1), no boundaries within the woodland are shown on Epoch1 map or other historic mapping and they are south of the former boundary with Baggs Coppice.
