Description
A probable trackway of medieval/post medieval date is visible on historic aerial photographs as earthworks and was mapped as part of the North Buckinghamshire Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18304). Located Approximately 350m east of College Wood, Whaddon, and centred at SP 79853 33081. Probable trackway visible as parallel ditches and a low earthwork, along the north edge of an area of ridge and furrow in Whaddon parish. A field barn (MBC23130) is shown on OS Epoch 1 near the north end. No sign of this track or barns remains; modern land use is arable in a single large field with former internal field boundaries removed. (1-2)
