Description

An extractive pit of post medieval/modern date is visible on historic aerial photographs and remote sensing data as earthworks and was mapped as part of the North Buckinghamshire Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18304). Located approximately 70m south of Barracks Farm, Nash and centred at SP 77966 33902. Underlying geology is Stewartby Mudstone; possibly a clay pit for bricks at Barracks Farm. (1-3)
