Description

Part of a road/trackway of probable medieval/post medieval date is visible on historic aerial photographs and remote sensing data levelled earthworks and was mapped as part of the North Buckinghamshire Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18304). Located approximately 480m west of Town End, Nash, and centred at SP 77741 34609. This trackway is between two areas of ridge and furrow; it is visible as a levelled earthwork on aerial photographs and is clearer on lidar visualisations; it is partly followed by a modern footpath and close to the conjectural course of a Roman Road (see MBC8063).
