Description

Three extractive pits of post medieval/ modern date are visible on historic aerial photographs and remote sensing data as earthworks and were mapped as part of the North Buckinghamshire Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18304). Located approximately 500m south of Little Horwood, and centred at SP 478957 230136. Pits are irregular shaped, up to 65m wide, and only partly shown on historic mapping. (1-2)
