Description

Linear features probable medieval date are visible on remote sensing data as earthworks and were mapped as part of the North Buckinghamshire Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18304). Located approximately 210m to the south west of Horwood House, Little Horwood, and centred at SP 79470 29398. Sinuous earthwork is probably a former trackway, it remains clear on lidar visualisation and modern land use is parkland at Horwood House. A linear bank, a semi circular hollow and a slope edge are also visible. These may be parkland/garden features associate with the gardens at Horwood House,
