Description
A linear bank of post medieval date is visible on historic aerial photographs and remote sensing data as earthworks and was mapped as part of the North Buckinghamshire Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18304). Located 2km north west of Duck End, Swanbourne, and centred at SP 79394 27825. The L shaped linear bank, crossed in two places by field boundaries shown on historic mapping, is visible on the south side of the watercourse which has been heavily canalised. This former meandering course is visible on lidar visualisations but is not shown on historic mapping. (1-2)
