Description

An extractive pit of probable post medieval date is visible on historic aerial photographs as earthworks and was mapped as part of the North Buckinghamshire Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18304). Located at Duck End, Swanbourne, and centred at SP 79710 27649. Irregular shaped pit is visible in an area of ridge and furrow earthworks in 1946; it is visible as a levelled earthwork on lidar visualisations. (1-2)
