Description
A ditch of uncertain date is visible on historic aerial photographs as earthworks and was mapped as part of the North Buckinghamshire Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18304). Located at Tuckey Farm, Winslow, and centred at SP 75458 26955. Linear ditch crossing three fields to the north of Tuckey Farm; ditch is on superficial deposits of alluvium. This is visible as a ditch in 1946 but the modern land use is arable and part of the area has been used to create a lake. There is a record for Damerham Slade, a possible water supply to an early medieval settlement, recorded nearby (MBC23071 and MBC23702) or may be later. (1-2)
