Description

Parallel drainage ditches of post medieval/modern date are visible on historic aerial photographs (and/or remote sensing data) as extant buildings/earthworks/levelled earthworks/cropmarks and was/were mapped as part of the North Buckinghamshire Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18304). Located 200m to the north of Claydon Brook, Winslow, and centred at SP 76366 26607. These ditches are visible as waterfilled in 1946 and vary in orientation; some cross former ridge and furrow earthworks, others are parallel to ridge and furrow in adjoining fields. (1-2)
