Description

A water channel and pond of possible medieval/post medieval date are visible on historic aerial photographs and remote sensing data as earthworks and were mapped as part of the North Buckinghamshire Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18304). Located at Oakhamgutter/Holcombe Cottages and centred at SP 78720 25455. The water channel runs down hill to a pond below the cottages and then continues to the stream. There is no pump or well shown on historic mapping so this may have been the water supply for the cottages. (1-2)
