Description

An area of drainage ditches of probable modern date is visible on historic aerial photographs as earthworks and was mapped as part of the North Buckinghamshire Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18304). Located on the south west side of Christmas Gorse and centred at SP 78563 25041. These ditches are visible as a grid in the 1940s, crossed by a more sinuous ditch which continues the line of a field boundary to the south of Christmas Gorse and joins the brook to the west. None of these can be seen on the lidar visualisation and the modern land use is arable. (1-2)
