Description

A ditch and mounds of probable medieval date are visible on historic aerial photographs and remote sensing data as earthworks and were mapped as part of the North Buckinghamshire Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18304). Located south of Bates Close, Granborough, and centred at SP 76776 25535. These may be the remnants of ridge and furrow earthworks in the fields to the north, which predate the existing field boundary to the north. Ridge and furrow earthworks are in all the fields surrounding the area and remain as earthworks in places. (1-2)
