- DRAINAGE DITCH (Medieval to Post-Medieval - 1066 AD to 1798 AD)
Description
A group of drainage ditches of post medieval date is visible on historic aerial photographs as earthworks and was mapped as part of the North Buckinghamshire Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18304). Located approximately 1600m east of East Claydon and centred at SP 75366 26001. These drainage ditches lead out of areas of ridge and furrow earthworks and lead towards a brook. A large, late 20th century electricity distribution station has removed any evidence of these ditches. (1-3)
