Description

Drainage ditches of post medieval/modern date are visible on historic aerial photographs as earthworks and were mapped as part of the North Buckinghamshire Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18304). Located approximately 100m south of the modern course of Claydon Brook and centred at SP 78794 26552. These ditches run parallel to the course of the brook beyond the edge of areas of ridge and furrow earthworks; they are on areas of alluvium and river terrace gravels along the watercourse. (1-2)
