Description

A possible drove road of medieval date is visible on historic aerial photographs and remote sensing data as extant earthworks and was mapped as part of the North Buckinghamshire Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18304). Located at north of Green End, Granborough and centred at SP 76959 25267. approximately 150m to the north of and running parallel to Green End, on the same alignment as the hollow way through the shrunken medieval settlement. Ridge and furrow earthworks stop at the extent of this road; it is approximately 40m wide, at its widest, a possible drove road that predates Green End.
