Description
Late 18th or early 19th century cottage. Red brick with decorative brick dressings and half hipped tile roof. Central chimney stack with 4 clustered flues set at an angle. 1 1/2 storeys, 4 bays, the right hand bay with ground floor external access passageway to rear and gabled eaves dormer above. Moulded brick plinth. First floor decorative brick band course. Steps lead up to the front door in bay 2, which has a wooden moulded hood on decorative brackets, with a hipped gabled eaves dormer above. All windows are oblong flush casements with metal glazing bars and small panes, the ground floor windows have wooden shutters and round topped decorative brick arches above. The windows on the front are double casements, those on the side are triple casements, the ground floor with a higher arch than those on the frontage and the first floor window is set tight under the wide eaves.
