Description

Circa 1846. House built for the Socialist settlement founded by Peter H J Baume, the French born socialist, at Debden Hill. 2 bays, 2 storey with central stack having two diagonal brick shafts with oversailing courses. Painted brick. Small paned casements under segmental arches. Modern central porch, roughcast. Modern concrete pantile roof. Later extensions of 1 storey to west and south (B1).
