A NUMBER OF SKELETONS, ROMAN SWORDS & JAVELIN HEADS WERE FOUND IN SASHES FIELD WHEN MAKING THE NEW CUT IN 1830. FINDS IN POSSESSION OF LORD BOSTON (B2).
AN INTERESTING BUT DUBIOUS REPORT, BUT PROXIMITY OF ROAD FROM SILCHESTER TO VERULAMIUM MEANS SOME KIND OF SETTLEMENT COULD BE EXPECTED HERE (B3).
