Description

DURING MECHANICAL EXCAVATION OF AN ORNAMENTAL POOL VARIOUS PILES WERE RECOVERED. ALSO FOUND WAS A STRANGE WOODEN OBJECT 38CM LONG & C11.5 CM IN DIAMETER AT ITS WIDEST. (PHOTO) (B2).
PHOTO SHOWS OBJECT : TRUNCATED CONICAL HEAD C23CM LONG WITH HANDLE AT BROADEST END ?BEETLE (WOODWORKING MALLET) (B9).
