Description

EXCAVATION OF TOP LAYER OF MAKE-UP IN ORCHARD PRODUCED (REDEPOSITED) GREY ROMAN SHERDS. DARK (ROMAN) POTTERY FOUND IN LEVELS ABOVE FLOOR & ?PRE-ROMAN SHERD UNDER FLOOR (B1).
SOME POTTERY AT BCM (B6-7).
SOME POT MAY BE LATE SAXON - ALL APPEARS POST-ROMAN. DATING OF PILES MOST LIKELY MED THEREFORE (B3-4).
