Description

Pleasingly proportioned double fronted early 1900s building (evident in 1938 historic mapping) with timber sashes, rendered with stone window dressings under slate roof. High Croft (early 1900s and understood to have related to Manor farm) is considered to meet Historic England criteria as a Non-Designated Heritage Asset due to its positive contribution to the historic environment. It gains part of its significance from the agricultural land in which it sits and enjoys fine views across the landscape due to its elevated position (B1).
