Description

Terrace of 19th century cottages. Casements windows – some original timber, others more recent
replacements. Some of the cottages are decorated with window boxes. The cottages are of some
architectural and historic interest, representing the 19th century expansion of Wendover following the arrival of the canal and railway. Decorative brick lintels are of the same brick as the facades. The buildings are glimpsed from Back Street, stretching back at 90 degrees from the street. Local note buildings within the conservation area of Wendover (B1).
