Description

House, 18th century. Gable end onto street. Polite frontage with 8 over 8 timber sash windows. The
rear wing, which runs parallel to the street, has casement windows with arched brick lintels and a
brick plinth. The building is of architectural and historic interest, and forms a group with the adjacent Paradise House. The building is visually important in views from the south along Hale Road, and the rear wing frames views along the street in both directions. A Local note building within the conservation area of Wendover (B1).
