Description

A small 19th century cottage. The building is built in a highly decorative arts and crafts style, evocative of the estate buildings found in nearby settlements such as Waddesdon. The building has decorative carved timber gables, highly ornate brick chimneys, decorative club tiles on the roof and closely leaded casement windows with mullions and transoms. The building is of clear architectural and historic interest, and is unusual in its design within the context of Wendover. The cottage is visually important, being prominent in views along Church Lane and Hale Road. A Local note building within the conservation area of Wendover (B1).
