Description

Shop with a number of outbuildings to the rear now converted to office use. The building is of architectural and historic interest. The front façade has been imposed on a much earlier building. This imposition of a later façade is common within Wendover, but Number 28 is the most obvious case. When standing to the east of the building, on Back Street, the second floor gabled façade is clearly distinguishable from the underlying building, which runs parallel to the street. The building is prominent in views across Manor Waste. A Local note building within the conservation area of Wendover (B1).
