Description

Pair of 19th century buildings, now a shop and a restaurant. The left hand building has been altered
considerably in recent years, with the addition of a new frontage at ground floor level, new windows, rendering and awnings. In comparison the right hand shop retains a number of important architectural details including a traditional shopfront. The buildings are prominent in views from South Street and form part of the continuous building frontage of Pound Street. Local note buildings within the conservation area of Wendover (B1).
