The buildings sit beneath a shallow pitched gabled roof laid in slate with a mid ridge chimney. Ground floor bays with centrally positioned window to each storey and building. All windows are later insertions. Entrance doors are accessed by flights of steps. The buildings are prominently situated hard up to the back edge of the pavement at the south-eastern entrance to the village. Despite loss of some original fabric, the buildings maintain their essential form and massing and character. A local note building within the conservation area of Ivinghoe (B1).
