Description

19th century cottage. Constructed of buff coloured bricks with red brick lintels. Two storeys with gabled roof with ridgeline running parallel with the carriageway. Roof is laid in tile. Central doorway accessed by steps. Door flanked to either side by three light casement windows. Identical windows to first floor. Above central door is a round window. The building is prominently situated hard up to the back edge of the pavement at the south-eastern entrance to the village. It is an attractive cottage, which despite some later additions and alterations to original fabric, maintains its essential form and character. A local note building within the conservation area of Ivinghoe (B1).
