Description

19th century brick building set back from the carriageway on elevated ground. Partially obscured from public view by brick boundary wall and trees. Two storeys with relatively steeply pitched gabled roof laid in tiles with brick end stacks. Ridgeline runs parallel with the carriageway. Despite alterations to building, the basic outline, form and massing of the building remain. The building is significant because it maintains much of its original character and forms part of a group of 19th century buildings that represent a period of development and change within the village. A local note building within the conservation area of Ivinghoe (B1).
