Description

Pair of cottages, 19th century, 1 ½ storey. Brick, with render to right-hand cottage. Projecting open
porches, dormer windows at eaves level, central brick ridge line chimney. Half-hipped old tile roof.
Casement windows. The cottages are prominent in views from the churchyard. They are elevated
from the road level and separated from the highway by a steep bank and green space. However,
they are still clearly visible from the street. A local note building within the conservation area of Ashendon (B1).
